The Quebec population is changing. Quebec has managed to maintain its demographic growth thanks to the arrival of the immigrant population. Moreover, in the coming five years the baby boom generation will step aside and be replaced by a younger generation. During that period, nearly 600,000 baby-boomers will retire. It is thus important to make diversity management a key skill among all managers. Their functions are becoming more complex. Being prepared is a way to ensure managers are mobilized, well equipped, and fully able to meet coming challenges and reduce unproductive time.
